Who can join?

Anyone at least 18 years of age may join Seattle General Toastmasters. Come to a meeting to get more information about how to join.

As a visitor, will I have to speak?

No. In fact, most visitors simply sit back and enjoy the show the first few times. But we welcome your participation when you’re ready.

Isn’t 7:00 a.m. awfully early for a meeting?

Yes! But Seattle General Toastmasters is such a fun, vital group that you’ll be glad you came. Plus, where else can you embark on a journey that will greatly improve your life while you sip a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up over Lake Union?

Is it expensive?

You pay nothing as our guest. Once you join, weekly dues are $4.00 and there is a semi-annual membership fee of $40, paid to Toastmasters International.
